Loretto was founded in 1827 and benefits from a very spacious campus in Musselburgh, just outside of Edinburgh. For over ten years Loretto School has experience of providing group accommodation for a number of groups including summer camps, language schools and music schools.
Our five boarding houses can provide single, twin, triple and four bedroom dorm accommodation, with common rooms, TV lounges and shower facilities contained within the houses.
We have a range of catering options to fit around you stay including breakfast, half board or full board options. Each house also has kitchen facilities for preparing light snacks.

A fully equipped Sports Hall with four Badminton courts, a full sized basketball court, and four full length cricket bays. The sports hall accommodates the many interests and in the past it has been used for performance rehearsal, indoor hockey, netball and football.

Our dance studio comes complete with ballet barres and a full wall of dance mirrors. In the past dance classes and rehearsals have taken place in the Colin Thompson Hall.

The Astroturf is a full size hockey pitch but it can be used for a range of sports including tennis courts. The pitch also comes equipped with flood lights allowing you to continue to play no matter the time of year.

The junior school hall is a flexible performance space with lighting, sound and projection facilities.

The chapel is an architecturally unique building with amazing acoustics. The chapel, which can sit 400 people also features a Kenneth Jones organ, Steinway concert grand piano and is fully wired for sound and recording.
