Lea Valley really is my second home and the staff and community are like my family. We all live our values every day to ensure we give all children the best possible start to their educational journey.
Our school ethos revolves around our six core values: Ambition, Courage, Determination, Honesty, Kindness and Respect. All members of our school community show these values. We are proud to welcome families from all over the world and our school is filled with a plethora of languages; all our staff are committed to inclusion and we truly believe that every child deserves a happy place to learn and play.

However, we encourage all our pupils to fulfill their potential both academically and pastorally. Our school motto of ‘Determination to Succeed’ is woven into all aspects of school life.
Lea Valley is a two form entry primary school in the heart of Tottenham. We provide high quality education for children from Nursery to Year 6. With our own library, allotment and music block, the children at Lea Valley receive a broad and balanced curriculum on a daily basis.
Alongside our curriculum offer we ensure all children have the chance to experience many enrichment activities. From running through the woods looking for a Gruffalo to climbing aboard HMS Belfast, our pupils can often be found in real life learning experiences across London. Whilst they are in school the lessons are often practical with children experiencing life in the Stone Age one day to working with a local artist the next. There is always something happening at Lea Valley.
We aim to establish a caring and cohesive school community where all pupils feel valued and develop a love of learning. We are a school where pupils care about each other, the adults they work with and their school. We encourage self-discipline. We also have exceptionally high expectations of behaviour and we expect each individual to respect others’ differences, their families, cultures and beliefs.
