Lead Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

The IIQAF is looking for a Lead Information Security Analyst to join our team and lead the implementation and oversight of a comprehensive Information Security Program. The Lead Analyst will be responsible for overseeing security controls, policies, procedures, and framework implementation.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent technical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Lead Analyst must understand the importance of Information Security in an organization and be able to coach and develop others on the same.

Responsibilities include:

• Review and implement security controls and procedures
• Train and lead a security team in security-related matters
• Ensure the organization is meeting its information security requirements
• Ensure all necessary resources and processes are in place to achieve information security goals
• Monitor infrastructure and analyze system logs for security issues
• Investigate incidents and respond to security violations and threat scenarios
• Coordinate with system administrators and system engineers to enhance security
• Maintain knowledge of the latest industry-standard security technologies
• Produce periodic reports for management on the effectiveness of security measures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 5 years of experience in Information Security
• Industry certifications in Information Security such as CISSP, CISA, GCIH, GCIA, etc.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive Information Security programs
• Proficient in Risk Analysis
