Lecturer in Analogue Electronics

Job Summary

The Center for Bachelor of Engineering Studies, DTU Diplom, has an opening for a lecturer in the field of analogue electronics. The position is in the Department of Electrical and Information Technology.

Our expectations of you

We expect that you hold a degree in Electronic Engineering and that you have at least three years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, you may hold a PhD in electronics combined with teaching experience.

Furthermore, we expect that you:

• Have the ability to teach and supervise different types of students based on their different academic prerequisites
• Participate actively in the development of the Bachelor of Engineering programs and in the development of the technical field together with your colleagues
• Have the ability to teach in both Danish and English.

• Note, that if you do not speak Danish, you must be prepared to learn to both speak and write Danish within the first couple of years of your employment such that you will be capable of teaching in Danish.
• Continuously develop your teaching skills in accordance with DTU Diplom’s expectations for academic staff.
• Actively use your professional network in your teaching and continuously develop a Danish as well as an international academic network
• Continuously maintain your own professionalism and contribute actively to both the interdisciplinary and subject specific environment at DTU Diplom, as well as contributing to the cooperation between other institutes within DTU.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment terms and conditions are according to the collective agreement for government employed academic staff and the career structure for Bachelor of Engineering educations and the Export Engineer education.

The appointment will be as Assistant Professor unless qualifications equivalent to those of Associate Professor have been achieved. The qualifications for an Associate professor correspond to a 3 year employment as an Assistant Professor or equivalent.

The place of work is DTU Diplom, Ballerup. The position is a full time position but part time employment is possible after agreement.
