Job Summary
Minimum Academic Requirements
- Master’s Degree and undergraduate study in Law
- At least 3 years teaching experience in the field of Law
- Teaching and record of research publications in accredited journals would be a strong recommendation
- Preference will be given to applicants who are registered for a PhD
Additional Requirements
- Commercial or industrial related experience
- Demonstrate innovative thinking towards teaching and learning skills
- Availability to work at other DUT campuses, in the evening and weekends and sometimes away from home
- The candidate is at an advanced level of completing a PhD
Summary of Duties
- Take responsibility for the teaching, learning and assessing of modules offered, at all levels and associated with the programme in the Department
- Make major contributions to the academic quality by providing leadership of all aspects of offerings associated with Law in the Department
- Lead, develop, design and review all learning content associated with Law
Supervise and co-supervise postgraduate students
- Publish reputable journals
- Promote community engagement within the department
- General administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department
