Job Summary

You will join a multidisciplinary team of faculty working in a range of hospitality related business areas. The school community is international, and the program is taught, and all business is conducted completely in English. Position in the organisation

Every faculty member works under the direction of one Program Manager Bachelor, based upon their area of expertise. The Program Manager Bachelor reports to the Dean of Faculty and together with the Dean, the Program Managers Bachelor are responsible for the academic program of the school.

Curriculum

The curriculum at Hotelschool The Hague is delivered in a unique competency approach. Courses are integrated using modern methods of practical application and active learning including blended learning, business simulations and case studies, enhancing the students’ understanding of each discipline as it is used in real world scenarios.

Profile

  • A Master’s degree; preferably Human Resources related
  • A minimum of 4 years of international work experience in HR, change management or leadership, preferably within a hospitality focused organization;
  • Several years of teaching experience or proven affinity with teaching
  • Analytical and conceptual skills and an excellent command of the English language (C2 level);
  • An inspiring team player for all Hotelschool The Hague students and faculty;
  • excellent social skills, an ability to work independently, and a proactive attitude to problem solving; able to work in a self-directing team;
  • Insights into and knowledge of current affairs and developments in (hospitality) management;
  • An enthusiastic approach to education with an emphasis on coaching students to deal with real-world professional assignments.
