Job Summary

The focus of this role is to enhance, lead and deliver Kurongkurl Katitjin’s teaching and learning program. Your experience and understanding will enable you to identify, create and develop teaching and learning curricula and materials that ensure Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander knowledge and perspectives are taught across a range of the University’s qualifications thus ensuring our students are better prepared when working with First Nations communities. Your successful work experience and/or research track record, including collaborative work with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people will be a critical aspect to your success in this position.

You will be an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as provided for under s 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA). You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

This position is initially offered as a full time, fixed-term position, with the potential for further opportunities based on project outcome and attracts a remuneration.
