Tuition Fees

Day School Fees

NOTE: ALL AMOUNTS ARE STATED IN AED

Deductible Registration fee

Application fee: The amount of AED 525 (incl. VAT) is due at the time of the assessment.

Tuition fees include: books, additional Early Years childcare (upon availability), internal after-school activities (upon availability), and inclusion measures as per guidelines.

Tuition fees do not include: school trips, transportation, uniforms, food & beverage, external after-school activities and IB and BTEC registration fees.

Registration fee: The registration fee will be charged and is due within 5 days from receiving the Offer Letter. After receipt of both the signed Offer Letter and the Registration fee, a seat is reserved. This non-refundable fee will be deducted from the total tuition fee of the relevant academic year.

Sibling discounts are available to SISD families. Discounts are cumulative and applied successively.

Full Boarding Fees

Full boarding students spend the whole term on campus and return home during the holidays. Fees are applied to term dates

*As of January 2018, the UAE government has imposed a 5% VAT tax on all boarding component of boarding fees. The total boarding fee is inclusive of the new tax.

Other charges:
(Billing occurs at the start of the Semester)

• Medical insurance
• Deposit of 2’725 USD (10’000AED): Amount will be used to fund 2 compulsory external after-school activities, extra weekend activities. Any remaining balance will be refunded at the end of semester 2.

Registration Fee:

• A non-refundable registration fee of 13’620USD (50’000AED) is required. This amount is adjustable against the final annual payment.

Full boarding fees include:

• School tuition fees
• Accommodation
• All meals and snacks
• 3 internal after-school activities per week
• Selection of weekend activities
• Evening activity programme
• Student visa
• Books & examination fees
• Use of all school facilities
• Laundry service (As part of the life skills process - G11 & 12 will be doing their own laundry)

Full boarding fees do not include:

• Optional social trips
• Additional uniforms
• Whole School Trips
• Personal items
• Insurance for personal items brought to School
• Private academic, music and sports lessons
• Costs arising from damage to property
• Stationary, laptop and class materials
• IB and BTEC registration fees
• ESL/EAL classes
• Medical insurance
• Other charges listed above

Weekly Boarding Fees

Weekly boarding students spend five nights per week on campus and return home during the weekends.

Flexi Boarding Fees

Reserved exclusively for existing SISD students from Grade 6-12, the flexi-boarding package is an addition to our full and weekly boarding options. Flexi-boarding allows students to remain on campus and stay at the boarding house for a minimum stay of 6 nights. Flexi Boarding is available for boys and girls ages 11-18, for a maximum of 5 weeks per academic year.

There are many reasons why this option might be ideal for families. Students who have long daily commutes to and from school might prefer to break up their travelling during periods of high co-curricular commitments. In addition, students who wish to dedicate more time to prep and revision would benefit from being in school for longer periods. Occasional boarding can provide convenient support for parents with busy work schedules or allow them to take short breaks or holidays during term-time, without disrupting their child’s education.

Flexi boarding fees: 2‘500AED per 6 night stay. 525 AED (incl. VAT) per additional night

Fees include: all meals and snacks, accommodation, structured homework session with tutor support (if no other after-school activity is scheduled), evening boarding activity programme.

Details:

• Sunday, drop-off before 7.00pm
• Monday, 3 meals
• Tuesday, 3 meals
• Wednesday, 3 meals
• Thursday, 3 meals
• Friday, 3 meals
• Saturday, brunch and pick up before 12.00pm

Fees do not include: medical insurance, whole school trips, travel, personal items and visas.

Collection on Friday evening must be requested in advance with the Head of Boarding.
