School Fees

Assessment Fee: The non-refundable assessment fee must be paid at the AUS Finance Office.

Other Special Activity Fees: A Special Course and Activity fee may be charged for after school activities.

Sibling Discount: Siblings attending AUS are eligible for a 10% tuition discount. This discount is not available to family members outside the sibling relationship. Contact the AUS Finance Office for further information.

Enrollment Deposit: Once an application has been accepted and the applicant has received an Offer of Admission from AUS, the applicant is required to confirm his/her enrollment in AUS by submitting a KWD 100 non-refundable enrollment deposit through the school’s online portal; if necessary payment, can be made in the AUS Finance Office. The deposit will be adjusted with the student’s first tuition payment. If the AUS Finance Office does not receive the Enrollment Deposit (within 7 days of student approval notification), it is considered that the applicant will not be attending AUS and their seat/place will be released.

Legal Contract: By registering your child for AUS, you are entering into a legally binding contract with AUS, and you are obligated to pay all related student fees and charges, including any non-refundable fees and charges.

Payment of Fees and Charges: Prior to the student attendance class, parents are expected to settle their accounts or to have made satisfactory arrangements for payment of the school fees and charges. Fees and charges are payable online and if necessary in the AUS Finance Office.

Non-Payment: AUS reserves the right to recover any amount past due, including any additional costs incurred as a result of a collection process or legal action.

Holds: The AUS Finance Office will place a hold on all student records for those students who fail to meet their financial obligations to AUS, including on-time payment of their respective payment plan. A “hold” prevents parents from, among other things, collecting their children’s’ transcripts and registering for future terms.

Payment Options

Full payment: All student fees and charges are paid one week prior to the first day of school. This means that parents pay in full the fees and charges upon completion of their registration. For example, after consideration of the student’s enrollment deposit, the total fee to pay at registration for a child in Pre-K is KWD 4,600.

Deferred Payment Plan: Should a parent decide to participate in the Deferred Payment Plan, the tuition fee must be paid in three equal installments by the specified due dates. The first installment must be paid prior to the first day of school.
