The Technology Fee is an annual fee, is NOT included in the Course Fees and is payable within the first tuition payment prior to commencement.

External examination fees for IGCSE, HSC or IB Diploma are not included in the school fees. Examination fees are billed separately at the appropriate time of the year (usually between June to July for IGCSE, IB and HSC). Fees are payable by the due date stipulated by the school and are generally payable prior to the examination sessions.
Examination fees include registration and subject fees set by examination boards and handling charges covering courier charges, invigilation cost etc. As a guide, families can expect to pay between $1,000 -
$3,000, depending on exam boards and subject choices.
Additional copies of school reports (each) $ 15.00
Course Fees include all books, stationery, Parents’ Association membership and are based on a two semester / four term year, unless stated otherwise. Replacement of lost IT resources, textbooks, workbooks, library books and other school resources will be expected to be funded by the student/family prior to the distribution of additional resources.
Families with three or more students concurrently enrolled at AIS in any individual calendar year will be offered the following Course Fee discounts (based on the age of the students):

A non-refundable Application Fee is paid to the Australian International School (AIS) at the time the application is submitted for enrolment. No application is considered until the Application Fee is paid. This fee applies to each student. The Application Fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable

The Enrolment Fee is a one-time payment for all new students, payment of the Enrolment Fee confirms acceptance of a student placement offer.
Enrolment Fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable for any student who receives a formal written offer into AIS but declines the offer.
Non-refundable one-time Facility Fee (Nursery and Preschool) $2,745.00
Non-refundable one-time Facility Fee (Prep – Year 12) $6,200.00
The Facility Fee is a one-time payment for all new students, payment of the Facility Fee confirms acceptance of a student placement offer.
AIS will apply a 50% Enrolment and Facility Fees discount for the 3rd family member enrolling in AIS. AIS will apply a 100% Enrolment and Facility Fee discount for the 4th family member and subsequent family members enrolling into AIS.
2026 Course Fee Billing Cycles and Payment Requirements
AIS will deliver invoices for Course Fees half yearly in advance, with payment to be settled as per the schedule below.

A non-refundable one-time Application Fee is paid to the Australian International School (AIS) at the time the application is submitted for enrolment. Families who enroll their child in the Infant Care Program for at least 6 months, will have the option to continue through to Australian International School (AIS) Early Years mainstream curriculum any time after 18 months of age, without paying a further enrolment fee. This enrolment fee will be waived.

| Student applicant does not meet the eligibility criteria for enrolment at AIS; or | |
| AIS is unable to offer a place to a student applicant due to sibling priority policy as published by AIS. | |
| The Enrolment Fee will be refunded in full in the event a Student application cannot be accepted at AIS for the reasons set out in 1) to 4) | |
