SAS FIXED Fee Schedule & Policy

Please note that all amounts are quoted in Singapore dollars. GST is included in all fees at the prevailing rate of 7%.

FIXED FEES

*Tuition fees of new students enrolling after school starts are prorated according to the Tuition and Fee Refund Policy

EXPLANATION OF FEES

APPLICANTS: APPLICATION FEE

A non-refundable fee of $2,500 is required for consideration of each application. Application fee payment is not a guarantee of admission or enrollment. Applications will remain valid for a two-year period from the submission date.

RETURNING STUDENTS: RE-ENROLLMENT FEE

A re-enrollment fee of $2,500 is required to reserve a student’s seat for the following year. From March 2, a late-payment fee will be added, for a total amount payable of $3,000. These payments are refundable until March 15. Re-enrollment after March 15 is subject to space availability and it is not guaranteed; re-enrollment fees paid after March 15 are not refundable. Re-enrollment of any student is subject to school approval.

NEW STUDENTS: ONE-TIME REGISTRATION FEE

A 50% discount on the registration fee is available for a third child and subsequent children.

Lane 1: Student / parent holding a US passport or Green Card

A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $7,490 applies to newly enrolled students holding a US passport or Green Card, or who have one parent holding a US passport or Green Card.

Lanes 2-4: Student / parent not holding a US passport or Green Card

A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $9,630 applies to newly enrolled students not holding a US passport or Green Card and whose parents do not hold a US passport or Green Card.

ALL STUDENTS: FACILITY FEE

The facility fee is dedicated to the ongoing maintenance, renewal, and replacement of campus facilities. The annual

facility fee of $6,613 / $7,683 is included in the annual school fees invoice. It is not prorated in any case.

ALL STUDENTS: TUITION FEE

Tuition fees vary by grade level and are detailed in the above schedule of fixed fees.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING (ELL)

An annual fee of $6,420 will be assessed for students receiving ELL support. ELL support is only available for stu- dents from Grade 1 through Grade 3. ELL enrollment is reviewed each semester.

STUDENT LEAVE OF ABSENCE

SAS may agree to offer prioritized re-admission for a qualified student who wishes to take a Leave of Absence, which costs a flat fee of $5,000 per child and is valid for up to one year. It is not prorated in any case. May 15 and October 1 program application deadlines apply.

PAYMENT TERMS

NEW STUDENTS: CONFIRMATION PAYMENT

A non-refundable payment of $5,500 is due within seven (7) days of accepting an admission offer. This confirmation payment secures the place for the student and will be applied to total school fees payable.

PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES

For new students, fees are due within thirty (30) days of invoicing. The school may require payment of all school

Fees at the time of admission, when deemed appropriate due to enrollment limits, waiting lists, or other factors. For returning students, the re-enrollment fee is due by March 1, and all other school fees must be paid by June 1. Failure to pay all school fees by the June 1 deadline will result in a late-payment fee and may also result in the student losing the seat for the upcoming school year.

LATE-PAYMENT FEES

A late-payment fee of $500 will be imposed for all annual school fee payments received after the due date stated on the invoice for returning students or thirty (30) days after invoicing for new students. School fee payments made after the stated due date will be accepted only if the admissions office determines that a space is still available for the child.

PAYMENT PLANS

In certain circumstances, a payment plan may be available. Payment plans incur a $250 fee per child to initiate and administer, and must be renewed annually. Penalties apply for any failed payments, as detailed in the individual plan. Email inquiries to [email protected].

REFUND OF FEES

The refund policy is included in the student contract and is available on the school’s website. Registration and facility fees are not prorated in the case of late entry or early withdrawal. Application fees, re-enrollment fees, and confirmation payments paid for a given student may not be transferred nor applied to another student’s account.

OUTSTANDING PAYMENTS

Students with outstanding payments may have their school attendance privileges revoked by the school until such time as their accounts are current. If any payment remains due upon withdrawal from the school, no transcripts, transfers, or other records will be released until full payment is received.
