Application Fee: 6,000

The application fee is non-refundable. This payment must be submitted at the same time that the application is made to the admissions portal. Submitting an application to the school does not guarantee a space for a student. The Admissions Committee will review all applications.

Assessment Fee: 2,500

The assessment fee is non-refundable and must be paid at the time of assessment. The Admissions Committee makes the decision whether or not a student is eligible to take an assessment test.

Registration Fee: 265,000

This fee is non-refundable and must be paid upon acceptance for entry to the school. This is a one-time fee.

Campus Development Fee

Parents must select either (1) or (2) from the following:

Option (1): A 575,000 campus development deposit (CDD) to the campus development fund, which is refundable within 45 days of withdrawal of each student, net of any outstanding bills for tuition or other fees.

Option (2): An annual payment of 60,500 to support campus development is an alternative to the CDD. This annual fee is

non–refundable and must be paid each academic year.

Diploma Examination Fee (Year 13 Only): Approximately 25,000

All year 13 students are required to pay any applicable IB Diploma Programme fees at cost. This includes registration for the diploma or certificates, as well as for every subject that each DP (Year 13) student sits. There are also courier and administration costs for the internal assessments and for each examination. These fees are collected by NIST and submitted to the IB.

Conditions & Payment Schedule

EAL (English as an additional language) is offered in addition to, alongside and within the regular programme in select year levels. The principal goal of the EAL programme is to help students acquire sufficient competence in English to succeed in their studies at levels comparable to those of their non-EAL peers. The programme therefore provides essential support to students from non-English speaking backgrounds. Furthermore, it is compulsory for those students who the school deems in need. It is not an option in such cases. However, in line with our school’s values, we do not charge an extra fee for any EAL support.

The annual due dates for each semester’s fees are fixed. In cases in which these dates fall on public holidays or weekends, fees are due on the next business day. Please note that overdue payments incur a 1.25% per month surcharge, and all fees must be paid before a student can attend school. The school reserves the right to withhold transcripts, certificates or other documents for as long as the parent or student owes any outstanding amounts to the school.

Refund Policy

All fees—including, but not limited to, tuition, extra-curricular activities and other expenses—must be paid by the due dates identified by the school. NIST will not refund tuition fees if the student leaves the school prior to the end of a semester. Similarly, NIST will not discount tuition fees when a family advises that they plan to leave part way through a semester. NIST reserves the right to take any appropriate action in the event of unpaid fees.

Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure closing of the school, or other adverse circumstances that the school could not reasonably be expected to predict or control, no fees will be refunded, and lost days will only be rescheduled if the Head of School deems it necessary to ensure that educational objectives are not compromised.

Late Entry

Tuition fees will be pro-rated for students joining NIST after the school year has started. The percentage of the full fee charge will be dependent upon the date of entry to the school.

School Provision

School supplies such as stationery and basic materials, computers and/or devices (including personal MacBook Air computers for every secondary student), and books are provided by the school at no additional cost. Field trips related to the curriculum are also provided to students at no cost.
