Enrollment Fees

Application Fee

Upon submission and acceptance of the application, a non-refundable processing fee of RM1,700 will be charged.

Visa Processing Fee
Should a new student and/or guardian require the school to process a visa, a fee of RM800 per application will be charged. For each visa renewal of a current student and/or guardian, a fee of RM300 will be charged.

English Language Assessment Fee RM1,200
Students who need assessment of English Language Proficiency Level, the assessment fee (non-refundable) is RM1,200.

Admission Fees for New Students

More Than 1 Enrollment

A family or company enrolling more than one (1) child/student in Grades 1 to 12 will be charged an admission fee of:

• The registration fee for the first child is RM28,000.
• The registration fee for the second child is RM18,000.
• The registration fee for the third child is RM15,000.
• The registration fee for the fourth and subsequent children is RM10, 000.
• The admission fee will be waived for a student who transfers to M’KIS from an internationally accredited school in Malaysia.

Re-Enrolment Fee
The annual re-enrolment fee for a returning student who wishes to re-enrol or continue in the new academic year is RM2,300.

Tuition Fees

Semester 1 (Aug to Dec) and Semester 2 (Jan to June)

Additional Tuition Fees for English as an Additional Language (EAL)

A student who needs additional support through our English as an Additional Language (EAL) program will be charged:

Elementary School

a) EAL Intensive Support: RM5,000 per semester
b) EAL Support: RM2,000 per semester (the fee may be prorated)

Middle School and High School

a) EAL Support: RM3,000 per semester (the fee may be prorated)

Tuition Fee Rebate

The rebate of tuition fees for a family or company will be:
a) 2% of the tuition fees for the second child
b) 3% of the tuition fees for the third child and subsequent children

Pro-rated Tuition Fee

• A student who enrols in mid-semester will be charged a pro-rated fee.
• No tuition fees will be refunded for a student who withdraws prior to completing the semester.

Fees Review

All fees will be reviewed annually.

Activity Fees

a) A student participating in athletic leagues, such as AIMS and SEASAC, will be required to pay individual travel and registration fees for competitions. The school will pay the annual league membership fee.
b) A student participating in certain co-curricular activities may be required to contribute towards the costs.

Classroom Stationery Set

Classroom stationery sets will be provided for students in Pre-K3, Pre-K4, Kindergarten and Elementary school.

Fee Invoice

• A fee invoice will be sent to the family or company before the start of a new semester. There are two (2) semesters in a school year.
• All fees are payable in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
• All tuition fees are to be paid in full, no later than seven (7) days from the commencement of the school semester.

Payment Details

By Cheque
If fees are paid by cheque, the cheque must be made payable to:
Mont’Kiara International School Sdn. Bhd.

On the remittance form, please include the following information:

• The school invoice number
• Student’s full name as per the passport
• Parent’s full name as per the passport
