Notes on Fees
- Application Fee: This includes the cost of a formal assessment if deemed necessary by the school and is non-refundable regardless of whether the school offers the applicant a place.
- Term Fee Discounts
- New students joining after the 6th week of term will be allowed to pay half of the Term Fees. Those joining after the start of term but before the seventh week will have to pay the full Term's Fees.
- Students from the Reception Class who opt to leave at 12.30 pm instead of the usual 2.00pm are entitled to a RM500 discount in the Term Fees only.
- Sibling Discount: In any particular term, if there is more than 1 student from a particular family enrolled in MES, then the younger sibling(s) will enjoy a 10% discount on the Term Fees only.
- Deposit
- The difference in the deposit must be topped up as a student progresses through the school years to consistently reflect an equivalent of one term's fees.
- The deposit will be refunded in full if the school is notified in writing of the student's intention to leave at least 1 month before the start of the next term while the child is still in school.
- Annual Fees for Year 11
This emphasizes that Year 11 is a special year which is costed on an entire year basis. This covers not only the tuition costs but also the costs of running the exams and managing the whole process till the student receives their IGCSE certificate in October.
- Increase in Fees: Please note the increase in fees, and also that MES subsequently reserves the right to increase fees by up to 10% for each adacemic year.
