An IDR 30,000,000 New Enrolment Deposit (NED) is payable for each student as soon as the admission of the student is confirmed by the School. A separate invoice will be issued when the offer for a place is made. Payment within 7 days from the invoice date is required to confirm the student’s place.
The NED will only be refunded when the student leaves the School, provided a written notice of withdrawal is received by the Admissions Office at the latest 30 days before the end of the term. For Year 13 students, the NED will be automatically refunded upon graduation. In addition, library books, computer devices and any borrowed equipment are to be returned to the School. The NED cannot be refunded under any other circumstances, including cancellation of enrolment.
IB Diploma (IB DP), IB Career-related Programme (IB CP) and IB Courses Entrance Fee (for Years 12 and 13, new students only)
A non-refundable IB Diploma (IB DP), IB Career-related Programme (IB CP) and IB Courses Entrance Fee of IDR 30,000,000 per student is payable as soon as admission of the student to Year 12 or Year 13 is confirmed by the School. This fee is in addition to the Application Fee and the New Enrolment Deposit.
School Fees include the costs of tuition, textbooks, stationery, and minor excursions.
Kindergarten to Year 11
You have the option to pay School Fees either termly or annually, by indicating your preference on the application form. A discounted rate is applied in case you opt to pay annually. The discount for paying the annual fees at the beginning of the academic year has been adjusted from 5% to 3%. Each year, for the following academic year, we will ask you whether you wish to continue to pay termly or annually, or to switch. For new students, the School will issue the invoices upon confirmation of acceptance.

School Fees are payable annually. Payment is due by the date stated on the invoice.

Separate fees will be invoiced for items such as (but not limited to) extracurricular activities, IB/IGCSE/ GCSE examination fees, external competition and sporting events, overseas trips and accommodation, computer and musical instrument hire, etc.
No refund on term fees will be made if the student has attended school at any time during the term. In the event of annual fees, if a student has not attended school in a particular term, the prepaid annual fees for those terms are refundable. For IB students, with the exception of extraordinary circumstances (subject to the approval of the Principal), there shall be no refund of the annual fees for Years 12 or 13.
Capital Levy Contribution are utilised for the purpose of day-to-day capital expenditure to maintain the standard and efficient running of the school’s physical facilities, as well as for funding future development projects to enhance the quality of learning at the School (land, building, facilities etc).
New students joining BSJ at the beginning of the Academic Year can choose to make either a four-year or a one-year CLC by indicating their preference on the application form.
Special Loyalty Reward for Kindergarten One (3-4 years old)
New students enrolling in Kindergarten One will be entitled to a 25% discount on the CLC when they reach Year One and Year Two.
New students joining BSJ partway through the Academic Year can only make a one-year CLC for the remainder of their first year, pro rata on a termly basis (please see the CLC table on the next page). For the years that follow, students may choose to continue making either a full one-year or a four-year CLC upon written confirmation via email.

In the event of any inability or delay in the School’s ability to deliver or perform any or all of its obligations resulting from force majeure causes (including inability to deliver our education programme online or remotely) beyond the School’s reasonable control and occurring without its fault or negligence, including (without limitations): acts of God or elements of nature, fire, flood, earthquake, an outbreak of diseases, epidemic, pandemic, concerns with local or national safety and security, actions of government or government restrictions, riots, sabotage, changes in legislation directly related to the implementation of the School’s services, wars and insurrections, provided that, the School has acted in good faith to minimise the effect of the force majeure, you hereby acknowledge that your obligations herein shall continue and remain valid, and the School will have no liability in respect of any such inability or delay in its provision of services hereunder. The School shall notify the occurrence of the force majeure event within a period of no later than 14 (fourteen) days from the date of the occurrence of force majeure to the parents/respective guardians.
