Early Years 15 Hours Funding
Seaton House School participates in the Government scheme allowing parents to take the 15 hours free childcare funding.
Where funding is taken the school will issue an invoice for the full published term fees and then deduct the Government allowance. Parents then pay the net balance after the funding deduction. See example below. The school will claim the applicable funding from the Government.
Nursery
Children qualify for funding from the term after they reach 3 years of age. To be clear, therefore, as Seaton House accepts children to start in the Nursery before they reach the age of 3, it could be that funding is not available until after their first term.
Children in Nursery Classes must attend a minimum of 5 morning sessions to be eligible for funding. Alternative session choices are available but these will not allow funding to be claimed.
Reception
Funding is applicable up to and including the term in which the child turns 5 years of age.
Whilst we recommend children attend full time from the commencement of the Reception Class (in September), it is not compulsory. However, children must attend a minimum of 5 morning sessions to be eligible for funding. Once children have reached the age of 5, then full time hours are mandatory. As mentioned above, from the term after they are five, they become ineligible for funding.

Please note that residential trips are charged separately.
Payment Options
Payment can be made via Bank Transfer (preferred), cheque or by Direct Debit (see below). The school’s bank details are provided on each invoice. Please note that due to high bank charges the school does not accept credit card payments for school fees. Cash is also not acceptable due to Money Laundering concerns.
Monthly Direct Debit payments
Should parents wish to pay fees by direct debit then each term’s fees will be collected over three months. Direct Debit authorisation forms can be obtained from the Bursar.
Debit payments are taken on our around the 15th day of each month according to the following schedule:
Fees are not taken in November, March and July
