School Fees And Charging

Your child’s place at Chad Vale Primary School is funded by the local authority however there are additional costs for certain things.

School Dinners

Dinner money should be sent in on Monday morning for the rest of the week or term as you prefer. You can pay this in several ways:

• You can send in cash or a cheque inside a school payment envelope (available from the office), clearly marked with the child's name, class and the amount enclosed.
• You can pay online using a credit or debit card, by registering with our School Gateway website.

School Trips

All activities which form part of the school curriculum must be provided free of charge. The Governors have approved a policy which permits the school to appeal for voluntary contributions to cover the cost of educational visits and other activities to support the children’s learning. Parents may apply to the Head Teacher in confidence for the remission of charges in part or in full.

After School Clubs

Some after school clubs at Chad Vale, particularly those organised by a third-party provider, will charge. These clubs are optional. Some clubs after school are run by teaching staff from Chad Vale and are free, but most are on a first come, first served or a ‘lottery’ basis.
