Payment Arrangements

School Tuition

School Tuition applies to children in the Primary and Middle Schools and also children in Children’s House who are prep aged or older. If your child was born between July 1, and June 30, they will be considered prep aged.

• All fees and charges are billed on account at least one week prior to the commencement of each term.
• School fees are due and payable on the Thursday of the first week of each term unless a payment authority is in place.
• If a payment authority is in place, fees may be paid termly, monthly or fortnightly as per the School Tuition Payment Schedule via Direct Debit, MasterCard or Visa.
• NB: As part of the BMS ‘Five-day-a-week program’ charges for public holidays and pupil-free days are deemed necessary in order to ensure sustainability.

Long Day Care Fees

Children in the Montessori Independent Toddler Community and children under prep age in Children’s House are considered to be attending Long Day Care.

• All Long Day Care charges are invoiced fortnightly in arrears.
• If no payment authority is in place, fees are due within seven days of invoice.
• If a payment authority is in place, fees will be charged fortnightly as per the Long Day Care & OSHC Payment Schedule.
• NB: Parents who do not collect their child (MITC) within our normal hours of operation will be charged $20 per quarter hour or ‘part thereof’.
• BMS charges for public holidays and the Australian Government accommodates this process by also paying a Child Care Subsidy for this ‘absence day’.

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

• All OSHC charges are invoiced fortnightly in arrears.
• If no payment authority is in place, fees are due within seven days of invoice.
• If a payment authority is in place, fees will be charged fortnightly as per the Long Day Care & OSHC Payment Schedule.
• NB: Parents who do not collect their child within our normal hours of operation will be charged $20 per quarter hour or ‘part thereof’.

Infant & Toddler Community

• 10 or 20 sessions cards to be purchased from the school office prior to attending first paid session.
• An enrolment form must be completed and a registration fee of $50 paid prior to the purchase of a card.
• Pro-rata cards may be purchased if commencing mid-term.
• Sessions must be used within the term.

Withdrawal Policy

The enrolment contract (refer to clause 6) states that parents are required to give the principal one full term’s notice in writing, when a student is to be withdrawn from school, either for a short-term withdrawal or for cancellation of enrolment.
