Gippsland Grammar

The default payment instalment option is 4 x quarterly instalments however you may amend your preferred instalment option and/or implement an automatic payment plan (bank account or credit card) through VOS

Where no instalment has been selected, the default quarterly instalment plan will begin on January 31.

Monthly account statements will be issued after the conclusion of each calendar month with 14 day terms

(f rom the end of the previous month). Statements are issued monthly regardless of the instalment f requency selected and will also include any ancillary costs that may have accrued during the month.

Fees are not charged for lost days due to Public Holidays or Gippsland Grammar non-attendance days. No refunds are given for sessions missed due to sickness or absence.

Family Discount

Whilst in the ELC a child who has an older sibling currently attending Gippsland Grammar or the ELC will receive a 10% Sibling Discount regardless of the position in the family .

Payment of Fees

Monthly statements are due and payable 14 days after the end of each month. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, credit card (Visa and MasterCard), BPAY, EFTPOS, and direct debit. Please email [email protected] if you would like to set up a regular direct debit f rom your bank account or credit card.

Late fees will apply in the following circumstances:

• Account balance exceeding 14 days of $500 or more;
• No arrangement has been agreed to with the Gippsland Grammar;
• An arrangement agreed to by the Gippsland Grammar is not adhered to; and/or
• No exception has been granted by the Gippsland Grammar

Late fees will be calculated and applied on the last day of every month and are as follo ws:

• $20 for balances exceeding 14 days between $501 and $2,000; or
• $20 + 18%pa of the total daily balance for balances exceeding $2,000 and 14 days

In any instance where fees are overdue and suitable arrangement cannot be agreed to with Gippsland Grammar, we may withdraw or revoke your child’s enrolment and take legal action to recover outstanding fees..

Offset Advantage

Gippsland Grammar will offer a discount against fees for accounts with a balance of more than $1,000. The discount is calculated as 3.5 per cent of the daily account balance and this rate is subject to change with one term’s notice. Please refer to the separate ‘Offset Advantage’ notice for further details

Family Holding Deposit

Preference will be given to students enrolling at the ELC where they have siblings already enrolled at the School or where payment of the Family Holding Deposit of $695 is received. Please note the Family Holding Deposit will only be refunded in the event that a waitlist exists for a year level that is oversubscribed, and a place cannot be offered.

Kindergarten Fee Subsidy

The Victorian Government, through the Department of Education and Training (DET), provides a rebate of child care costs for parents of children in their last year before school to holders of Health Care or Pensioner Concession Cards, or Visa 786 and 785.

Notice of Withdrawal

One full term's notice of withdrawal must be provided in writing to the Sale ELC Director before a child is withdrawn otherwise half a term's fee will be payable.
