Tuition Fees: Tuition fees include most textbooks, sporting registration fees, excursions and after-school academic support. The annual fee is charged in four instalments for the convenience of parents. Fees do not include compulsory school uniform, personal stationery or consumables, entrance fees to sporting venues, music tuition, ICT levy or special and voluntary events during the year. Subsidies received from the Commonwealth and State Governments are taken into account in determining fees.

Application Fee: A $50 non-refundable administration fee is payable upon application for admission to cover enrolment processing.

Endowment Fee: For the school to provide quality buildings and facilities and to complete the enrolment process, a non- refundable, non-transferable endowment fee of $2000 is payable per child. This confirms your child’s place at the school, following an offer of a place, and is in addition to tuition fees. Students entering the Early Childhood Centre in Kindergarten or Pre-Primary are required to pay $500 as a part payment of the endowment fee, with the balance of $1500 being payable upon entry into Year One. No Endowment payment is required for students in the Pre-Kindy programme.

Residential Boarding Fees: Residential boarding fees are additional to tuition fees and provide services seven days per week, including accommodation, meals, supervision, activities programme and laundry services. Year Twelve boarders are billed for the annual boarding fee over the first three terms of the year. The Year Twelve boarding fee is adjusted to allow for the shorter school year.

Music Tuition Fees: Music tuition is charged on a per term basis for individual and group lessons. Lesson enrolment is assumed to continue from term to term. Changes to music lesson enrolment are required to be made in writing a minimum of four weeks before the end of term. Cancellation fees apply if insufficient notice is given for a student’s withdrawal. For more information, please refer to the Music Parent Information Sheet in MyGSG.

Parents’ and Friends’ (P&F) Fee: The P&F supports and promotes the development of the school community and provides a valuable network for parents and the school. An annual membership fee of $80 per family is charged on the Term Two parent account for families with children in Kindergarten or higher year groups.

Technology (ICT) Levy Years Seven to Twelve: An annual levy of $290 is payable at commencement of Term One for existing students or on the date of commencement for new students, to cover the cost of the device, insurance, ICT support, monitoring and software applications.

Damage of the device not covered by warranty is covered by the school’s insurance, with parents being charged a $100 excess fee. This applies also to students in Year Six with a school provided device. In some instances (e.g. malicious damage), the full replacement cost of the device may be charged to the parent at the school's discretion.

Other Charges: There may be occasions where items such as uniform, text materials, workbooks and optional activities will be charged to parent accounts.

* Year Twelve boarding fees are charged in three equal instalments in Terms One, Two and Three. Tuition fees are charged in four instalments.
