St Mary’s is a registered Full Fee Paying Overseas Students School. Details of tuition, boarding fees and enrolment may be obtained from the School Registrar.
Tuition fees are generally GST free. GST on non-tuition fees has been included where applicable.
The Board of Governors reserves the right to alter fees and charges during the year, should changing economic circumstances warrant this to be done.
Fees are due by the first day of each term, unless written approval for an alternative arrangement has been approved from the School. Families experiencing short-term difficulties are encouraged to speak with the Director of Finance and Administration. Accounts unpaid fifteen calendar days after the start of term will be charged A$100 late payment fee if an alternative payment arrangement has not been agreed to, in writing, by the School.
A 1.75% discount is applicable for payment of the full year’s tuition or boarding by the first day of Term 1. Arrangements can also be made to pay annual fees in advance. This option can be discussed with the Principal or the Director of Finance and Administration prior to 13 January.
Children of Anglican Clergy: A concession of up to 50% of the tuition fee is allowed. The extent of these reductions is at the discretion of the Board of Governors.
Sisters: A reduction in tuition fees of 5% is made for the second sister and 10% for the third and subsequent sisters attending the School at the same time.
Daughters of Old Girls: A reduction in tuition fees of 5% is made to daughters and/or grand-daughters of financial Life Members of the Old Girls’ Association.
NOTE: Only one discount per student is available.
A non-refundable fee of $120 to cover clerical and administration costs is payable when a child’s name is registered at the School.
A non-refundable Endowment Fee, equal to 25% of the Year 7 annual tuition fee, is payable upon acceptance of an offer of a place at the School. The fee is $5,955 payable in full upon acceptance of a place at the School. A reduced fee of 15% of the Year 7 annual tuition fee is granted for the second sister and no fee is charged for the third or subsequent sisters.
