School Fees

The schedule is based on the school’s approved fees by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the official regulatory body for schools in Dubai.

Dunecrest Tuition Policy:

• Dunecrest offers sibling discounts of 20% for third child and subsequent children
• Tuition fees do not include transportation, cafeteria, nor uniform

Application/Testing Fee

An application/testing fee of AED 500/- is due upon the school's offer of a space.

Payments

Dunecrest American School is established and operated by Esol Education. All payments can be made by cash / check drawn in the name of Dunecrest American School LLC.

Please note that AED 250/- will be charged in case of a dishonored check.

Policies

New Students

Registration Deposit

• In order to support the community through the Covid-19 pandemic, the school has adjusted its registration deposit to AED 2500. This deposit is to be paid within five (5) days of the issuing of the acceptance letter, in order to secure space for your child.
• This amount is non-refundable unless the family has to move outside the Emirate of Dubai before the start of the academic year.
• This amount is applied to the first tuition payment and fees of the academic year.

School Fees

• First payment is due by September 1 (33.33% of the annual fees less 12% discount to term 1 fees to support families new to Dunecrest).
• Second payment is due by December 15 (33.33% of the annual fees).
• Third payment is due by March 15 (33.33% of the annual fees).

Returning Students

• In order to support our community during the Covid 19 pandemic, we are waiving re-enrollment fee of 5% of the annual tuition fee to confirm a student's place.
• First tuition payment and fees is due by September 1 (33.33% of the annual fees less 18% discount to term 1 fees to support Dunecrest families).
• Second payment is due by December 15 (33.33% of the annual fees).
• Third payment is due by March 15 (33.33% of the annual fees).

Fee Policies
Annual tuition is split into 3 installments. Each payment is due in full prior to the first teaching day of the term:

• First payment is due by September 1 (33.33% of the annual fees).
• Second payment is due by December 15 (33.33% of the annual fees).
• Third payment is due by March 15 (33.33% of the annual fees).

Parents need to make special arrangements with the accounts department if they are unable to make the full payment prior to the start of the term. The registration fee is a non-refundable, one-time fee.

Tuition includes book usage and most after school programs but does not include uniform nor transport.

If a student withdraws from Dunecrest American School during the academic year, the tuition fee will be charged to the student in compliance with KHDA regulations as follows:

• If a student attended school for two weeks or less, a month's fee will be charged to the student.
• If a student attended school for a period ranging between two weeks and one month, two months' fee will be charged to the student.
• If a student attended for more than a month, the full term's fee will be charged to the student.

In case a parent chooses to withdraw his child from the school's transportation services during any term of the academic year, transportation fees will be charged for the full term.

Please note that there is no cut-off date to register at Dunecrest American School. Once a grade is full, new applicants can opt to be placed on the waiting list.
