At Bernard Zell our mission is to engage students in a program of rigorous studies through a variety of classroom and real world learning opportunities, to educate students to be active and informed citizens in our pluralistic community, to inspire them to develop Jewish literacy, and to guide them as they embrace their chosen Jewish practice and beliefs.
The following schedule of tuition and fees has been approved by the Board of Trustees for the school year.
*Fees differ for each grade. Fees include: lunch, program supplies, graduation, trips and activities.Extended Day for Nursery and JK: $2,100 (Fee for all days - 12:30-3:30 p.m.)
In addition to the above, please note that there is an annual fee of $500 per student for Security, $100 per student for Grade Fund, $250 per family for Annual Fundraiser and $50 per family for PTC dues.
A generous gift from the Zell Family Foundation provides significant opportunities for tuition assistance. In addition to making a Bernard Zell education accessible to more families, the gift also provides support to Early Childhood families who wish to enroll their children in our full-day program. Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due when the enrollment contract is submitted.
Payment Plans
Several payment options are available for payment of tuition and mandatory fees. The school does not refund tuition under any circumstances beyond March 16.
One-Payment Plan
Pay the full year’s tuition and fees by June.
Two-Payment Plan
Pay half year’s tuition and fees by June, and half year’s tuition and fees by November.
Monthly Payment Plan
Families who receive tuition assistance may opt to pay their tuition on a monthly basis.
BZ Before Care: (for additional fees)
7:00 - 8:00 a.m. (All grades, Nursery - 8)
BZ Beyond After School: Classes or Child Care Options (for additional fees)
3:35 - 6:00 p.m. (Fridays until 4:00 p.m.) (All grades, Nursery - 8)
