BSB has the lowest fees overall, including application fees, compared to schools of a similar size. There are no extras (‘campus’ or ‘development’ fees), and almost all of our extensive range of Enrichment activities are free of charge. This is unusual in the international school world.

BSB is a private, fee-paying school. School fees are revised annually by the Board of Governors in the spring of each year, and are due in one single payment each May for the following academic year. Please note that no other rates are available.

Annual Fees Schedule

BSB tuition fees include significant benefits not routinely included in other independent and international schools, such as:

• All curricular trips (day and residential) to the end of Year 9;
• ‘Enrichment’ clubs and activities run by BSB staff from Kindergarten to Year 13;
• One issue of a Physical Education kit (for new students, a starter Physical Education kit including t-shirt, shorts, half-zip top, swimwear, swim hat) from Reception to Year 11;
• Textbooks, exercise books and file paper from Kindergarten to Year 13;
• All public examination entries (A Level, BTEC Diploma, IB Diploma and IGCSE) – except re-sits;
• Medicals for new starters and key Year Groups (Kindergarten, Year 1, Year 3, Year 6, Year 8, Year 10);
• Hot lunch (Kindergarten).

The school does not intend to apply a building levy for capital projects as some other schools do.

Early Childhood Centre (ECC) fees

ECC fees include: Hot lunch, nappies, specialist Music teaching, pre-school educational programme.

This Fee Schedule cancels and replaces all fee schedules issued previously.

BSB reserves the right to amend this schedule of fees.

Parents are responsible for payment of the total sums due, regardless of any subsidies provided by their employer.

Fees are invoiced annually. For those students joining us during the course of an academic year, the following reductions in the annual fees are applicable:

Notice of withdrawal / fee penalty for late notice of withdrawal

The contract between the school and the parent(s) requires that a full academic term’s notice of withdrawal is given in writing to the Principal in accordance with the school calendar. A refund of fees for students who leave early during the school year will only be given if this written notification of withdrawal is in accordance with the contract.

Where a full academic term’s notice of termination of the contract with the school has not been received, parents* will be invoiced for a full academic term’s fees in lieu of a term’s notice of withdrawal.
