Due to the adjustments to the S.A. School Act no 84 it is necessary that the following information with regards to the school fees be forwarded to you by the principal.

The control form (Annexure A as seen attached) has 6 questions which need to be answered once you have read the circular. Complete it by marking the appropriate block with an X.

• School fees for current year will be R10 000.00 per learner for the year of this year.
• Parents/Guardians who have learners in the school are responsible for the payment of school fees, unless a 100% exemption has been granted. If you are unsure please contact our finance office.
• If you believe that you may qualify for exemption – you personally need to collect the application form from Me Queen. The Exemption forms are not given to scholars, parents/guardians need to sign in recognition of receiving these forms.

Annexure A Is Not The Exemption Form

• Once the form has been completed and all the documentation has been attached return it to Me Queen so that she can sign for the receipt of the form. For any questions regarding the exemption forms you are more than welcome to contact our finance office for more information.
• Application forms for exemption may be collected from 20 January from Me Queen.Applications close on Friday, 31 January.

If you want to apply for exemption, you still need to complete Annexure B. In case you don’t qualify for exemption, you need to have a proposed arrangement in place for this year. If you qualify for any percentage of exemption the arrangement will automatically be cancelled. Please note that according to the law you are responsible for the school fees until the exemption has been granted to your child.
