The College is able to offer a flat 5% early payment rebate for early settlement of annual fees. Students on study permits are required to pay annual fees in advance and are therefore also eligible for the early settlement rebate.
Advance payment of school fees in full Less 5%
Rebates for the benefit of those parents with a number of children at the College are:
1. Dates for payments: All fees are payable in advance, annually, termly or monthly (over ten months). It is very important that the payment option (annually/termly/monthly debit order) is specified upon entering the College.
2. Annual and termly payment options: Annual school fees not paid in full by 31 January 2020 are payable in three equal instalments at the commencement of each term. Such fees are due by the end of the week following that in which the school term starts, i.e. 24 January, 15 May and 11 September 2020.
3. Monthly payment option: Should parents wish to pay fees monthly, this must be done by debit order over 10 months (February to November). This option needs to be arranged at the beginning of the year with the Fees Administrator. A debit order is mandatory and will be instituted.
4. Additional fees (sundry charges): These are payable by the end of the month in which they first appear on the statement.
5. Payments: Should fees not be paid timeously, overdue accounts will be dealt with as per the terms of the Dainfern College contract of enrolment. All legal costs in this regard will be borne by the defaulting account holder. Interest on overdue accounts will be charged at a maximum rate in line with the terms relating to incidental credit as defined by the National Credit Act of 2005.
6. Withdrawal of educational services: In the event of non-payment of fees, educational services will be withdrawn from the student as per the Dainfern College Overdue Accounts Policy as in accordance with ISASA.
7. Pro-forma invoices: Please note that Dainfern College will issue pro-forma invoices on request, otherwise billing will be reflected on Fees statements issued at the beginning of January 2020.
8. New students on Study Permits as defined in the Enrolment Contract (i.e. non-residents): The payment terms for students at Dainfern College on study permits are as follows:
9. Credit checks: The College will do credit checks in line with the ISASA Code and commercial practice.
