Additional Charges

All excursions, trips, visits and extra mural activities will be charged on an individual basis. Transportation to sporting matches is included however other costs for special events, etc. will be charged separately. Lunch is provided for day scholars at a cost of R1 260 per term payable in advance. Should you wish to provide your son with lunch, this charge is not applicable. Kindly notify the School accordingly. NB: The compulsory accident insurance cover has been withdrawn. Parents will be required to make use of medical aid or gap cover where necessary.

Payment of Fees

Annually

If the annual fees are paid in full by 30 December a 10% discount is offered. If the annual fees are paid in full by 31 January a 5% discount is offered.

Termly

Fees may be paid in full termly IN ADVANCE. Such fees will attract a 1.5% rebate.

Via Debit Order

Fees may be paid monthly over a 10-month period (January to October) by debit order. Such fees will attract a 1.25% per month rebate. Failed debit orders will carry an additional charge of R85.

Via EFT or Cash Deposit

Fees paid via EFT, cash deposit or other method direct to the College’s bank account will not receive a rebate. All extras will be charged on a monthly basis and are required to be paid on presentation of the account.

Any overdue amounts will be charged interest at the maximum prescribed rate in accordance with the National Credit Act 34 of 2005.

All accounts are to be settled by the end of October.

A full term’s notice, in writing, or one term’s fees in lieu thereof, is required before withdrawal of a pupil from school or hostel.

Application Fee

In the case of a new pupil a registration fee of R1 000, which is non-refundable, should accompany the Application form. On receipt of the application form, the registration fee as well as a copy of the pupil’s Birth Certificate and copy of his most recent school report, the parents and pupil will be invited for an interview with the Headmaster. The pupil may be required to do an assessment before a place is offered to him. A refundable deposit equivalent to one full term’s tuition and boarding is payable upon acceptance of a place at Weston Agricultural College. Should a pupil, after entering Weston request to leave, a full term’s notice in writing will be required.
