North Star Academy Laval is pleased to provide allocated funding through the support of the Polaris Foundation. North Star Academy Laval relies on voluntary contributions to the Polaris Foundation from members of the community to provide support for scholarships/bursaries and educational initiatives.
North Star Academy Laval believes that access to an English education should not be limited due to financial constraints. Financial aid is awarded in the form of a bursary. Bursaries are based on demonstrated financial need and are confidential. To be considered for a bursary, all applicants must meet the school’s terms for admission or re-registration. The amount of financial assistance awarded is applied as a reduction of tuition fees. Bursaries are granted on an annual basis; therefore an application must be submitted each year.
Needs‐based financial aid is available to students in Grade 7 to 11 and is assessed through a third-party organization, FAST Aid.
To be considered for Financial Aid/Bursary, applicants must apply through a third party agency, FAST Aid. The agency assesses the information in order to confirm financial need. Parents who have questions about the FAST Aid application process may contact the agency directly. All financial information is kept confidential.
After review of the all the Admission Applications, the Board of Directors review the recommendation by FAST, and grant financial assistance.
Scholarship awards are granted to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and exceptional leadership and community involvement. Awards are available to eligible students based on the following criteria:
