Lakeview has a contract with the City of Windsor Children’s Services for fee subsidy for families who may qualify for assistance. If your child(ren) is under 6 years of age you can apply for subsidy through the City of Windsor Family Services Website. Children from the ages of 6 – 12 are also eligible for Child Care Assistance during before and after school supervision, PD Days, March Break, Winter Break and Summer School. Please speak with our Head of School for further information on fee subsidy.
Some companies offer assistance to help cover fees for children up to age 6 as part of their employee benefits package. Chrysler, Ford, and Casino Windsor employees may be eligible for a Daily Child Care Subsidy depending on their current contract. To determine if a parent’s employer offers subsidy, they should contact the employer’s benefits administrator for eligibility and appropriate forms.
Bursaries are awarded based on financial need. To demonstrate financial need, parents must file a Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS) Application through Apple Financial Services. This is a confidential process. The FACS process identifies a family's ability to support educational expenses. A recommendation for assistance is made by Apple Financial Services and reviewed by the Scholarship and Bursary Committee. Please visit www.applefinancialservices.ca to complete the application. Unfortunately not all deserving candidate's requests can be accommodated. Each year a family is asked to reapply for financial assistance as their circumstances may vary.
For every new family referral that registers at Lakeview, a ballot will be given to the referring family. The ballot will be placed in a draw with a chance to win a $200 reward card towards any program run by Lakeview. The draw will be held in November and in March. When 2 or more siblings attend Lakeview at the same time, tuition discounts will be given: 10% - off of the 2nd child and 15% - off of the 3rd child. Please contact us for more details.
Lakeview recognizes students’ outstanding academic achievement with academic scholarships and entrance awards. These awards have been created to publicly honour excellence in those who will be attending Lakeview.
The School will award Academic Scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 to eligible elementary students from the Windsor-Essex and Chatham/Kent area who have been accepted to Lakeview. The Awards will be presented to the students with the highest average based on the criteria below. Each $1,000.00 Scholarship/Award will be applied toward Tuition fees at Lakeview. Awards will be posted to the recipient’s Lakeview tuition account upon acceptance into the program. Awards may not be used as deposit for registration.
