Columbia College

The following information provides specific refund policies for custodianship and adult/non-custodianship students. Custodianship Students:

• If you are cancelling homestay after applying, $100 from the placement fee and 50% of the custodianship fee are non-refundable.
• If you are cancelling homestay within 10 business days of arrival, the placement fee and 50% of the custodianship fee are non-refundable.
• If you are cancelling homestay after you arrive in your homestay, the placement fee, custodianship fee, and one month of homestay are non-refundable.

Adult / Non-custodianship Students:

• If you are cancelling homestay after applying, $100 from the placement fee is nonrefundable.
• If you are cancelling homestay within 10 business days of your arrival, the placement fee and 50% of the custodianship fee are non-refundable.
• If you leave homestay before the minimum two-month requirement, the second month of homestay fee is non-refundable.
• If you are cancelling homestay after you arrive, the placement fee and one month of homestay fee are non-refundable.

If your visa is denied at any time after you have applied to the homestay program, 50% of the custodianship fee and the full placement fee are refunded.

Payment Method

Tuition, homestay, and application fees can be paid using one of the following options:

Option 1- Flywire

Flywire is the preferred payment processing partner for Columbia College to process payments from outside of Canada and locally. To start a payment, click on the image below and fill in the values to choose your preferred method of payment.

Option 2 - Bank Wire Transfer

Payments from outside of Canada and locally may me made via bank wire transfer directly to Columbia College’s bank account at TD Canada Trust. Transfer details are available upon request by emailing accounting@columbiacollege.ca. Bank wire transfers may take up to two weeks to be received by Columbia College.
