Tuition Information

The Hillcrest Academy Finance Office is responsible for tuition payment plans, financial aid, free and reduced meals program, and other related financial information.

Tuition and fees for Hillcrest Academy are listed on the Cost Sheet links. Families interested in partnering with Hillcrest through the Homeschool Agreement Option should reference the Homeschool Cost Sheet.

Hillcrest uses FACTS Family Portal to manage parent contact, academic and dormitory communication, and manage payments. You will receive guidance for financial aid and tuition management as part of the application process.

Financial Assistance Applications

Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation through Hillcrest's financial aid solution called FACTS.

International Student Package

Application Fee

• $350 for first-time applicants
• (Hillcrest completes the SEVIS I-20/I-94 paperwork)

International Student Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees for international students is $25,900 for the current school year.

This includes:

• Tuition, room and board
• Primary health insurance policy
• English Immersion Support (consideration and accommodation plans)
• SAT Prep & Transportation to 4 testing locations
• Activity fee
• Book Fees & AP Exam Fees
• Extra-curricular activity & Athletic fees
• Airport transportation for fall arrival and spring departure
• Airport transportation for Christmas and Spring Break
• Airport transportation for various home-stays
• Day trips during both semesters for shopping, trips to Asian markets, attending various concerts, sporting events, and plays
• Two major trips per year: (1) Musical Tour with either band or choir (2) Student event trips to Chicago, Black Hills of South Dakota, or a similar student trip.

Student Lunch Program

Parents can now check family lunch account balances for student's participating in the lunch program. Click on the button below to check current balance and detailed information on a lunch account. Student Referral Program

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy’s Student Referral Program is designed to provide incentive to current Hillcrest students and families to encourage and recommend friends, acquaintances, and other family members to apply to Hillcrest for possible enrollment. Upon enrollment of the applicant, the current student is eligible for the referral discount.

International Student Fee Schedule

Late Payment

A late payment fee of $250 will be assessed on semester payments that are more than 10 days late. Any student whose account is not current after 15 days will not be allowed to attend classes until account is current.

Refund Schedule

Since all accounts with the school are due and payable on August 1st, the following refunds will be made to students who withdraw:

• In an academic semester in which classes have met for ten days or less: 50% of tuition and dorm fees.
• In an academic semester in which classes have met for more than ten days: There is NO refund.
• If a student is removed for disciplinary reasons there is NO refund.
