Tuition & Fees
Parents agree to pay the tuition & fees pertaining to the grade in which their child enrolled as follows:
Enrollment Deposit
All enrolling families, new and returning, are required to pay an enrollment deposit on submission of their online contract. This deposit is non-refundable and is deducted from the total cost of tuition & fees for the Current school year. The enrollment deposit is $2,000 per student, or 10% of total tuition & fees for families receiving financial assistance.
New Student Registration Fee
For all new students, a one-time registration fee of $1,500 per student is due by June 1 not to exceed $3,000 per family in any one year.
Three Payment Options
Ashley Hall requires families to choose one of the plans listed below for the payment of tuition & fees through Smart Tuition, the online payment portal. Smart Tuition accepts payment by credit card, electronic check, or paper check.
Please note: There is a late charge if payments are not paid according to the payment option chosen. Payments by credit card incur a convenience fee of 2.85%. For further financial information, please contact Ashley Hall Controller Janet Morrison at morrisonj@ashleyhall.org or (843) 720-2867.
Grades 7-12: $63,900
Tuition & Fees Refund Plan (Tuition Insurance)
If a child withdraws, the Tuition & Fees Refund Plan will pay benefits (subject to its terms, conditions, and limitations) to your account, which will provide substantial assistance in meeting your financial obligation. Remaining benefits not required to meet your obligation to the School will be refunded to you.
The purpose of Ashley Hall’s financial aid program is to enroll qualified students who could not otherwise afford to attend, thus maximizing the strength of the student body. We understand that affordability is a major consideration for parents. All financial aid awards are made on the basis of a family’s demonstrated need and are reserved for families who have no alternative to requesting aid. Ashley Hall follows the NAIS Principles of Good Practice for Financial Aid. All families requesting financial aid must adhere to School and Student Services by NAIS (SSS) procedures. The results of the SSS formula are considered by the Financial Aid Committee, which then determines whether aid is to be granted and how much aid to grant. Ashley Hall is not always able to meet the demonstrated need of all families who apply. All information is confidential, limited to review by the Financial Aid committee, and will be returned upon request. Need-based financial aid is a grant, not a loan, and is allocated on a first-come, first served basis to families of students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Financial need is calculated without regard to race, handicap, color, religion, or national origin.
