Le Rosey does not ask for, nor does it accept, donations for school development of any kind. Le Rosey does not pay agents or intermediaries; families who use their services will pay them directly; agents, etc. have no influence over admissions decisions.
A/ Boarding and tuition fees for the school year
For Boarders: Annual fees are CHF 94,500.
For day students: (possible only in classes 9, 8 and 7) annual fees are CHF 51,000.
For students currently at Le Rosey and re-enrolling
For boarders: Annual fees of CHF 94,500 are to be paid in two instalments: a payment for the first and second terms of CHF 63,000 is due no later than 1st May, and payment for the 3rd term of CHF 31,500 is due no later than 31st January.
For day students: (possible only in classes 9, 8 and 7) annual fees are CHF 51,000 in three termly payments, paid one month before the beginning of term. If the number of beds available allows, parents may opt for their children to be boarders for the Gstaad term only.
For all students:
1. A student is automatically enrolled for the following academic year as long as Le Rosey or the parents do not request otherwise. Parents who wish to withdraw their child for the school year should inform the Direction of the school in writing as soon as possible and in no case later than 1st May.
2. Le Rosey will automatically renew enrolment and keep a place open for all students for whom no formal notice of withdrawal has been submitted by 1st May and the school fees for the coming year have been paid in accordance with the conditions outlined above.
3. In case of withdrawal before the start of the school year, first term fees will not be reimbursed.
4. A student cannot start the school year if the financial conditions have not been respected.
Boarding and tuition fees for the school year are CHF 132,000, equivalent to CHF 44,000 for each of the three school terms.
For candidates applying to Le Rosey for the school year:
1. A non-refundable one-time registration fee of CHF 3,000 (student file, entrance examinations, visits, etc.) is payable.
2. If the child is admitted, a deposit of CHF 54,000 is required within 30 days of the decision for the place to be confirmed; without this deposit, the place is cancelled. This sum comprises: a. the fees for the first term b. a guarantee deposit for extra expenses of CHF 10,000. Any surplus is reimbursed at the end of the term following the student’s departure from the school. 3. Fees of CHF 44,000 for the second term, should be paid by 1st May, or within 30 days of the admissions decision if this is after 1st April.
4. Fees of CHF 44,000 for the third term, should be paid by 31st January.
