There is naturally a fee for attending The International - Academy and Boarding School of Denmark. However, the annual price includes all accommodation, materials, examination fees, meals and so on, as well as a European study trip and trips in Denmark.

Value for money

The fee for the School Year is 2.640 DKK a week for 42 weeks.

A non-refundable deposit of 3.000 DKK is required upon signing of the contract to formally confirm enrollment.

Furthermore, a non-refundable registration fee of 250 DKK, payable upon registration, is required to reserve your place.

A year (42 weeks) with us, including registration fee and deposit, will cost 114.130 DKK. Approximately 15.350 € - 18.620 USD - 13.460 GBP (exchange rates: February 11th).

Please note: There is an extra payment of between 0-14.000 DKK for our World Trip depending on your chosen destination. The maximum extra fee is approximately equal to 1.885 €, 2.285 USD and 1.650 GBP (exchange rates: February 11th).

Payment

Vedersø Idrætsefterskole / The International receives payment with VISA-Dankort, VISA and Mastercard. When depositing a registration fee, Vedersø Idrætsefterskole / The International reserves the right to withdraw the fee immediately. Immediately after registration, we will send an email confirming at the same time as we withdraw the amount on your credit card. You have reserved a seat when the enrolment fee has been paid.

All information that you enter at the enrolment must be current and correct; they must not be misleading, and in case of changes, please inform us of this. The amount, 250,-, is in DKK. Danish kroner and is incl. Vat.

Vedersø Idrætsefterskole / The International uses an approved payment server that encrypts all your card information with Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This means that you cannot read your information.

Right of Withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal on the payment as it is an enrolment fee covering administrative expenses ifbm. an enrolment. The amount is therefore not refunded if you choose to cede the reserved seat afterwards.

Funding

The fee for Danish residents is subsidised by the Danish State. This is based on parental income and includes Danes living abroad.

International families, who have lived in Denmark for more than two years, are also entitled to apply for state funding.

International students, who are not eligible for funding from the Danish government, must pay the full amount.
