Application Fee

A one-time non-refundable fee of R$1.560,00 for Brazilian residents, or US$300.00 if you are living abroad. The payment receipt will have to be uploaded to the application.

Tuition and fees are reassessed every year in February.

IMPORTANT:

  • In order to be considered as enrolled, the payment related to the re-enrollment deposit must be made in the amount corresponding to 40% of July tuition fee for the first child and 40% for all other children.
  • Graded's fiscal year starts July 1. The fiscal quarters are: (Jul/Aug/Sep), (Oct/Nov/Dec), (Jan/Feb/Mar), and (Apr/May/Jun).
  • Parents of new students enrolling are responsible for the tuition of the month entering and for the previous months of the current quarter.
  • Students checking out/withdrawing during or at the end of a semester are subject to a fine, as per the school contract.

Note:

  • Only one of the above Capital Fund discounts can be applied per student. If a student is eligible for two or more discounts, only the largest discount will be applied to maximize the benefit to the family.
  • A student who has withdrawn from Graded and then re-enrolls within a period of three academic years from the date of withdrawal is not required to pay the full Capital Fund again. However, there is a returning fee of 10% of the current Capital Fund per student.

Additional Fees & Expenses

English Language Learners Services (Participation determined through assessment for Grades 1–10)

Non-native English speaking students will be given an English assessment at the beginning of the school year. If it is determined that your child requires English Language Learning (ELL) support there will be a charge of R$ 17.900,00 (seventeen thousand nine hundred reais) for the 2023-24 school year. A separate yearly contract, for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, will be issued as soon as the need is identified and confirmed.

Materials Fee

Although your tuition will cover most books and school materials, as well as lunch, several activities and special classes will require a separate fee. Costs for materials and activities are subject to change.

Classroom Without Walls

(Grades 6–12)

These trips are a required aspect of our curricular programs and all students are expected to attend. These program fees are paid in addition to the monthly tuition.

Field Trips

Costs for trips and/or co-curricular trips will be passed on to parents and billed upon parental approval.

After School Activities

(Optional - All School)

Many activities are free of charge. The charge for any paid activities will be provided at the start of each semester. Some activities/clubs have trips associated with them – there is a separate charge for these trips.

Additional Books/Digital Resources

(Grades 6-12)

Several reading books are purchased by students to use for reference, note-taking, and class discussion. Digital resources are also used in some classes.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

(Grades 11 and 12)

Parents are responsible for all costs related to the IB program such as registration and exams.
