Tuition Fees and Payment Terms

Tuition Fees & Payment Schedule
Tuition fees can be paid in full at the start of the academic year or in three instalments, payable in advance of each term. The re-enrolment fee with the first term’s payment required by the end of Term 3.

Our fees represent a discount on the rates approved for King’s College Riyadh by the Ministry of Education. Tuition fees do not include school lunches, transportation, educational trips, or extracurricular activities with external providers.

A 5% tuition fee discount is available for families choosing to pay the full year’s fees in a single payment at the time of acceptance (only applicable via bank transfer, cheque, or cash).

King’s College Riyadh does not charge a Capital Fee.

Fee Policy Notice
All fees are charged in SAR and have been approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE). King’s College Riyadh’s school fees are reviewed annually and may be subject to MoE-approved adjustments. The school will endeavour to provide at least half a term’s notice of any changes.

Payment of tuition fees confirms acceptance of the school’s terms and conditions. Please note that the information provided regarding tuition fees, payment schedules, deposits, discounts, and refunds represents our standard policy but is subject to change at the school’s discretion.

In line with ZATCA (formerly GAZT) requirements, a 15% VAT is charged on admissions fees for non-Saudi (expatriate) families. Saudi nationals are exempt. The VAT rate and application are subject to government regulation.

Sibling Discounts
A 5% tuition fee discount is available for the third and subsequent child enrolling at King’s College Riyadh. This discount is only applicable if payment is made by bank transfer, cheque, or cash.

Application, Assessment & Deposit
For all new pupils, a one-off, non-refundable application fee of SAR 550 is required when submitting an application to King’s College Riyadh. Additionally, a professional evaluation fee of SAR 1,100 applies to each applicant. This fee is refundable only if a place is not offered.

Upon accepting an offer, a one-off, non-refundable enrolment administration fee of SAR 3,800 is required. To secure a place, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the first term’s fees must be paid within 7 days of receiving the offer letter. This amount is deducted from the first term’s fees. Failure to pay within the specified timeframe may result in the offer being withdrawn.

All offers of a place are conditional on any SEN (Special Educational Needs) or EAL (English as an Additional Language) requirements being declared during the admissions process and before accepting the offer. If the school assesses that SEN or EAL support is necessary, parents must accept the programme. These programmes will be reviewed each term against the school’s benchmarking policy to determine their continuation.

For pupils joining during a term, tuition fees will be calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the number of days remaining in the term. However, a minimum charge of 50% of the first term’s fees will apply.

Refund Policy
Refunds are processed in accordance with Ministry of Education (MoE) regulations. Deposits are non-refundable except in exceptional cases.
