There is a sibling discount of 10% on tuition fees for the third (youngest) and subsequent child in each family, paying full fees, for the current and next academic years, attending any Taaleem school in Dubai.
Books are given on loan basis. Students are to return the books at the end of the term or academic year.
Application Fee
The one-time non-refundable non-transferable Application Fee of AED 525 is required to process your child's application. It applies to new students only and includes 5% VAT added as per government regulations.
Registration Fee
Registration Fee AED 4,000 - only for new students, payable within 10 days from receiving the acceptance letter. Payment of registration fee secures a place for your child at American Academy for Girls and is credited against Term 1 fees. The deadline for Term 1 fee payment is 2nd August.
Re-registration Fee
Re-registration Fee AED 2,000 - for returning students / re-admissions into the following year. This amount is credited against Term 1 fees.
KHDA Charges
For students transferring within Dubai schools, there is a KHDA administration fee of AED 120 for each student. This fee is collected on behalf of the KHDA by the receiving school. Where a student is transferring from one Taaleem school to another Taaleem school, this fee will be waived.

Uniform

Transportation
School buses are provided by Arab Falcon Dubai. The school bus fee may vary depends on the location. The school will assist you with arrangements, and you can also visit www.arabfalcondubai.ae or call: (04) 3976490 for more information.

SEN/EAL/ILSA
Special Education Needs Students requiring support of a specialist SEN/EAL/ILSA will be supported by a school in appointing one. Please contact our admissions office for further details.
Exam Fees
There may be an additional fee for external examinations in line with other private and international schools. School will inform you of such in advance.
First Term Fees are due on or before 2nd August. Fees for the Second and Third Term will be due one month prior to the Term start date.
Once a seat is offered, a non-refundable Registration Fee of AED 4,000 is required within 10 days of receiving the acceptance letter to reserve the seat until full tuition payment is made. This is applicable only for new students and this fee is deductible against first-term tuition fees.
Term 2 fees should be paid by 6th December, and Term 3 by 14th March.
Payments can be made by cash, credit card, bank transfer or check.
A manager's check is preferred. In case payment is made by a personal check, then the school requires payment at least 3 (three) working days prior to the due date of the invoice. All checks must be made payable to "American Academy for Girls ". A charge of AED 500 will be made for any returned or dishonored check. Post-dated checks are to be lodged for Term 2 at any time in advance of the due date.

All charges are the responsibility of the remitter. Notice of student withdrawal and application for a tuition refund must be made in writing to the School Principal.

Documentation
All documentation including a one-time non-refundable non-transferable Application Fee of AED 525, new students only, including 5% VAT added as per government regulations, must be submitted prior to the student joining the school.
School can only accept applications with all required paperwork. Paperwork will not be collected if submitted incomplete.
Incoming students whose documents are incomplete cannot be registered with Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and could result in fines. American Academy for Girls will not be responsible for any fines imposed by the KHDA.
Admission
A completed Application Form does not oblige the school to accept your child. However, once you have been notified of your child’s placement decision and the registration and relevant term fees have been paid, a contract is deemed to exist between the school and the parents/guardians, provided that the school regulations are observed. The school reserves the right to place your child in a class deemed to be the most appropriate, within the bounds of the KHDA guidelines.
New Students/Registration Fee: a school may charge up to 30% of the school’s tuition fees as an admission fee to confirm that selected students will opt to take up the offered places. This fee should be deducted from the total tuition fees for the academic year in which the admission is being sought.
Existing Students/Re-Registration Fee: a school may charge up to 10% of the school’s tuition fees as a re-registration deposit to confirm the return of existing students in the new academic year. This deposit will be deducted from the total tuition fees for the academic year in which the admission is being sought. The school will advise of the amount and the due date. Re-registration for continuing students will not be accepted unless all outstanding fees due have been paid in full.
Registration and Re-registration fee are non-refundable fee
Kindly note that those wishing to transfer to other Taaleem schools will also be required to fill the re-registration form and submit a copy to both schools with the non-refundable deposit paid at the new school.
Registration/Seat Guarantee: to register your child, you are required to pay the balance of the first term fees at least one month before the beginning of the school year and hand in post-dated cheques for the subsequent term.
Term One Fee: a student may not start the academic year unless the first term fee has been paid in full. Payments will be only accepted via cash, credit card or cheque payable in favour of School. We cannot accept personal cheques for Term 1 fees if given five working days prior to the start of the new academic year.
School Reports: according to the Ministry of Education regulations, the school reserves the right to withhold any reports until fees have been paid in full.
Final Results: according to the Ministry of Education regulations, the school reserves the right to withhold the final results and abstain from issuing transfer certificates until settlement of all school fees is made.
