Life Quest Girls Academy

Life Quest Girls Academy is a very unique boarding school for girls ages 13-18. In a safe, home-like environment we don’t just educate, we instill a life-long love of learning through individualized programs of study to help our students transition successfully into adulthood.

Our non-traditional academic environment allows girls challenged by traditional school experiences to create their own unique, customized educational plan. By focusing on curriculum geared for today’s rapidly changing world, middle school and high school students at Life Quest Girl’s Academy discover the strength to build a successful future, including obtaining employment. We structure our program to help students build a foundation of confident, disciplined, holistic living.

We also welcome students in transition from a therapeutic residential program. Many girls are not ready to return to the pressures of traditional school and home life quite yet. As is crucial for all schools for troubled girls, Life Quest teaches how to handle freedom and opportunity in a healthy manner. Whether it is academic recovery or college preparation or vocational training, we educate our students toward successful life goals.

There are many private schools in the Southwest, but none have our setting in the picturesque beauty of Southern Utah. Our location allows opportunities for contemplation, focus and also inspiration in the midst of awe-inspiring natural wonders. This setting is a great asset to our hands-on curriculum in photography and other visual arts, and plays a role in another critical component of our program — the importance of physical fitness.

Here at Life Quest, we teach the importance of self-respect, and we believe a pillar of this respect is how we treat our bodies. In a world filled with damaging influences in how we think about beauty and fitness, we guide our young women toward a positive understanding of health, wellness and fitness. The Life Quest Girl’s Academy academic program is designed for a small student body of up to 45 students, offering academic instruction for grades 6 – 12. Our academic program is based on an online independent study philosophy with one-on-one tutoring support provided by certified teachers. Offering academic recovery, GED diploma, ACT courses and testing, AP classes, and scholarship application skills and training, our students transition from our program to college or employment.

Upon enrollment we conduct a thorough academic assessment and evaluation process. our girls are registered for age and grade-appropriate courses. At Life Quest, we maintain a minimum weekly academic standard determined by each student’s individual academic plan. It is totally amazing to watch a girl with past academic struggles soar after restoring her academic confidence and future.
