Job Summary
Our Logistics advisory team is growing and we are recruiting for a Logistics Engineer to join the team. The role is based in Dubai.
As a Logistics Engineer, we will see you responsible across the following areas:
- Assist in developing the Logistics Strategic Plans.
- Monitor all logistical aspects of the project and provide feedback on delivery approach.
- Assist in logistics decisions including: Logistics plan preparation, Logistics plan development and implementation.
- Assist in planning and knowledge of site set-up to move labour, plant, and materials around site efficiently (i.e. hoarding, gates, site accommodation, cranes, hoists, security, temporary services, material delivery, waste management strategy etc.).
- Assist in planning and development of internal and external logistics routes through the project phases focusing on separation of vehicles, machinery, and people, whilst taking into consideration interfaces with future planned works.
Here’s What You’ll Need
You will have:
- A degree qualification in Engineering or any equivalent degree
- Minimum 5 years of consulting experience
- Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential (CIOB / CMILT).
- Experience on site with construction logistics in the region.
- Major international project experience is preferred but not essential.
- Operational experience in similar size project/program
- Brings new ideas, approaches or insights to their work and suggests process improvements
- Persuades and influences others successfully towards a desired course of action.
- Demonstrates a good perspective and ability to explore innovative approaches in pursuit of a better way.
- Utilises new technology and helps others to adapt.
