Welcome to MABIS, a wonderful learning community that nurtures the unique potential of each child. Established in 2010, we offer students an authentic Montessori education delivered in a multilingual environment. Students learn English, Chinese, and Thai in our language immersion program serving children from two years old through high school.
Montessori education prepares children for life. The curriculum is designed with their developmental needs in mind. Children engage in real, hands-on experiences that support purposeful learning.
A pioneer in offering quality education, MABIS is the first Montessori school outside of the United States to receive accreditation by WASC along with the Thai Ministry of Education and ONESQA. We invite you to explore the amazing learning experiences at MABIS.
Our Vision is for Students graduate from MABIS with confidence, grace and integrity. They seek and embrace opportunities to use their unique abilities and knowledge toward creating a better society and peaceful co-existence in the world.
Our Mission is an authentic Montessori community, we nurture the joy for learning and meet the development needs of children as they fulfill their potential as students, community members and global citizens. In a carefully designed multilingual environment, students perform purposeful work that support personal development and fosters empathy while growing their physical, intellectual and social independence.
Montessori education prepares children for life. The curriculum is designed with children’s natural developmental needs in mind. Children engage in auto-education through an interdisciplinary and a multi-intelligence approach. Their classrooms are a mixed-age community of learners which allow children to learn from one another, to co-exist in harmony and to contribute to their society.
Through the Montessori curriculum, children not only acquire a solid foundation in traditional academic skills such as literacy and mathematics, they are exposed to much more. Students learn and appreciate the vastness of the universe, the diversity of cultures, plant and animal life, the interdependency and interconnectedness of everything around them. They gain an ecological world view that allows them to develop into responsible citizens and leaders of the world.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
Our group from New Delhi India was fortunate to have a visit to MABIS as part of our itinerary during the Montessori Congress in Bangkok.
MABIS is all a true Montessori space of learning aspires to be and its wealth lies in its students. They were articulate, extremely well mannered and a joy to be with.
The school itself is well planned and the attention paid to the tiniest of details is commendable.

We love MABIS! The classrooms provide a peaceful and calm working environment. Our son come home excited to share about their day’s work – the hands-on Montessori materials provide a true fundamental understanding of concepts and a fun way for him to learn. Montessori has created a love of learning for our son. The amazing teachers (and truly the entire staff) take such a genuine interest in our child's complete development, and foster such a warm caring environment. They take the time to really learn each personality and learning style and what makes them tick. They have been incredibly supportive, both emotionally and academically. We are very thankful to have found MABIS and thankful to be part of such a supportive community. Highly recommended.

I once studied here, and I regretted moving to a different school. I missed all my friends and all of my lovely teachers. I preferred the Montessori teaching style than the other styles because it teaches a child a different way of seeing the world, it gives us youngsters a way to communicate by exploring and observing the environment. Most importantly, it teaches a child to be a human being. There, in MABIS the school made every lesson fun and interesting and that really helped when we were learning about some subjects. I felt that I was being supported in every way, I had a voice of my own.

As someone who has known and seen mabis for a year, I can’t reject that here’s a professional one. It’s not because everything here’s perfect but here has given everyone chances and helps anytime you fault, parents, teachers, admins and especially students, we’ll get another chance to try it again and again.
And I found that I never get bored of seeing this quote at school every morning...
“We must help the child to act for himself, will for himself, think for himself; this is the art of those who aspire to serve the spirit.”
Maria Montessori

A wonderful well equipped Montessori school. Using the Montessori Method and philosophy to create a perfect start for young children, teaching them from concrete to abstract using all 5 senses, and the child's own inner will to learn. Creating a well rounded student in all aspects of the curriculum.
Then extending into the older students curriculum where they are encouraged to learn through various aspects and forms of educational teaching to suit all students needs. Continuing to use the Montessori Method and philosophy and corporating all aspects of the 5 senses. Creating a confident well rounded student capable of dealing with all situations from many aspects of learning. With an ability to think outside the box as well as surpassing many international schools in Math, Language, Science and Cukture.

Great school with great children, families, dedicated teachers and owner. The community and passion for the Montessori method from all is evident upon entering the school. It is truly a wonderful school with a promising future! This school is highly recommended for a wide variety of reasons and the top three reasons are: education, dedication and professionalism. Keep up the great work MABIS!

I felt so sorry introducing this school to anyone. Teachers do not know how to handle difficult situations with kids and dealing with parents. I strongly do not and will not recommend this school.

We had very bad experiences with the school. It's a very new school with teachers who lacked of experience in teaching. The teachers got freaked out when kids acted up. Instead of handle with the behaviors, they just complained, but had no idea what to do. We told them what worked for our kid in term of teaching and behavior management, but the teachers still didn't get it. All in all, no experience...
They combined grade 1-5 into one class. Is kids age 6 learn the same as kids age 10??? There was only one teacher/principle who runs the school, everybody else was invisible. When we gave the school review on Facebook due to their horrible job, the principal threatened me. Last time we checked, she took off the review. This is the kind of school that can't take criticism. Zero star!!!
Update : First of all, I accepted your apology. If you were communicating and understanding when this issue arises, I would not be this upset. You were so defensive at the situation and were not trying to listen. I hope you channel this negative feedback to help you develop your staff and your school, including yourself, that will be benefit to the future students and families. Not all children were born equally. As a teacher or principle at the school, you should have compassion instead of finger pointing. This is the free country, I am entitled to express my frustration and rate the school base in my experiences I had. And if you are the principal at the school, you should be able to take criticism instead of blaming it back to unsatisfied parent/customer. I did repost my comment in this website because you couldn't take any criticism and deleted my first comment from your school page. You are more afraid about the school's reputation than being honest. I hope you would leave all our conversations in your Facebook page, so someone could learn something from it. May PEACE also be with your HEART and SOUL.

As a Montessori teacher, I went as part of a tour and was very impressed with the school and the staff. We spoke with older students who are clearly proud of their school and love being there. I would highly recommend the school.
