The Manchester Science and Engineering International Excellence scholarships are open to all international fee paying, self-funded students and will be considered based on their UCAS application. The awards are open to those joining any other degree programme registered in the Faculty.

There are 20 competitive awards of £3,000 per year for up to four years of study, awarded to the highest performing applicants within each discipline. Winners will be announced in August. Market specific awards will be made to applicants from India, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Be International fee paying, self-funded students.
  • Maintain a 60% average performance each year to qualify for annual payments Offer holders should have chosen Manchester as firm choice
  • Ensure they are fully registered with their Department on an undergraduate degree course as a new student.
  • There will be no separate application form. All international students who are holding an offer of a place within the Faculty at The University of Manchester will be considered for a scholarship.
