The Meadows Primary ensures every child has a well-rounded education that supports good progress and high individual attainment. We are proud to be a fully inclusive school and you can read our diversity statement: At the Meadows, we believe that all children have the right to be who they are without discrimination regardless of race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, economic background, gender or disability. We welcome children and families from all backgrounds and encourage our school community to embrace and celebrate our differences, ensuring everyone is treated equally with respect and dignity.

The teaching staff are extremely committed to the academic and social education of the children, all the staff in the school, as well as the whole school community, work together to ensure that this happens. we are currently getting to know the children, and what an amazing group of children they are! As a school we get to know our children very well and the children are encouraged to make positive learning relationships with all. We have a high expectation of our children academically, but we also appreciate that there are a number of talents within our school.

The Meadows aims to be an inclusive school where the well-being and education of our children is our primary concern. Our three core values are:

  • Quality – of teaching and of learning.
  • Respect – one another and ourselves.
  • Enjoyment – of learning and school life.

We work to achieve the highest possible standards in work and behaviour, with honesty and integrity – only your best is good enough. We actively seek positive professional relationships with parents, carers and other stakeholders in the best interests of all our children.

At the Meadows Primary School and SLCN Resource Base we will continuously strive to ensure that everyone in our school is treated with respect and dignity. Each person in our school will be given fair and equal opportunity to develop their full potential with positive regard to gender, ethnicity, cultural and religious background, sexuality or disability.
