MECAT is a multinational educational organization with offices in the United States, UAE, and Lebanon. Our journey started in the early 1990s, training career professionals in the fields of Business, Education, and Computer Science. Our trainees currently occupy leadership positions in their fields of expertise, and attribute much of their success to the high-quality education delivered by MECAT.
In 2000, MECAT founded the Modern University for Business and Science, one of the most successful Lebanese universities in the new century, with a commitment to modernize higher education in the Middle East. MECAT was able to overthrow many of the archaic and classical approaches in education by focusing on hands-on training and fostering creativity and innovation.
MECAT's journey continues with new offices in the United States of America, where it is at the hub of innovation, technology, and creativity in the Silicon Valley area of California. Our new offices in Dubai, UAE at Dubai Knowledge Village bring the latest advancements in the world of Business, Education, Social Work, and Research to the Middle East, ensuring that success and development do not remain haphazard processes, but rather well-developed and clear individual and organizational strategies.

Our curricula are carefully designed to engage trainees in active learning, allowing the students to be engaged in the material, instead of passively listening to information about it. Active learning allows learners to master a set of adaptable skills where the material becomes intuitive. Flipped classrooms, interactive lectures, and open-source and proprietary digital platforms are only examples of the methods used in our training. Critical cognitive skills are introduced through methods that utilize the science of learning to reinforce essential concepts. We make sure that our trainees grow to master the education that we offer, by training them on new cognitive skills and fundamental methods to develop and use their knowledge.
Our programs target individuals, employees, managers of small businesses to major organizations, and community groups. Our trainees help us understand their needs, organizational culture, and gaps that must be addressed. Our training program can also be tailored as a year-long series with one topic per month. Or, the series can be adapted to meet the specific needs of the trainees whether on an individual level or as a team.
