Job Summary

• Respond to instructions to undertake specific tasks and routine tests on the network/systems ensuring that appropriate procedures are correctly adhered to.
• Report all issues/variances with planned work ensuring any activities outside normal procedures are communicated in a timely and accurate manner.
• Keep up to date with procedural changes in order to maintain knowledge levels required to do the operations/ maintenance job of associated network systems.
• Follow-up and monitor the MNS service providers to repair faults and resolve the network degradation / complaints as per the stipulated SLA.
• Perform a variety of routine tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the network operations and maintenance methods, practices, systems and networks of the organization.
• Provide straightforward solutions to basic problems using readily available clear and direct references,
• Collect and evaluate data; raise issues and suggest interventions based on observations.
• Assist the development of project documentation as requested by senior engineers
• Perform other duties as required by the higher levels of supervision

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent from an accredited university
