Nakhonsawan Rajabhat University is an undergraduate educational institution, under the Office of the Higher Education Commission; Ministry of Education. In August 15, 1922, The University was founded as “Fundamental Agricultural Teacher Training School” Nakhonsawan County and collapsed with Pranakhon Sri Ayudthaya Fundamental Teacher Training School in 1932. Afterwards in changed into Special Agricultural Primary School, then changed to Nakhonsawan Teacher Trainning School and Nakhonsawan Teacher Training College.Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej bestowed the name “Nakhonsawan Rajabhat Institute” which changed to “Nakhonsawan Rajabhat University” in June 15, 2004.

Yan Matsi campus is located close to Phahon Yothin at Road Tambon Yan Matsi, Muang District, Nakhon Sawan province. The campus away from the main campus of 14 km, 197.6 acres. Currently, the landscape architecture and building design. Include a master plan area prepare for a perfect university. Some buildings have already been constructed such as lecture and agricultural research labs building, lecture and product design operations building, food processing research and quality inspection building, Local Wisdom Learning Center building and innovative and technological building.
