NAFA conducts a comprehensive range of full-time diploma courses and delivers degree programmes in partnership with reputable universities from Singapore and the UK. Courses are taught by an international faculty of academics and leading arts practitioners who are passionate about imparting lifelong skills in the arts. Courses are designed to enable students to think critically, creatively and independently and at the same time master important technical skills in a disciplined and structured pace. Engagement and partnerships with industry, the arts community and cultural organisations are regular features and part of the learning process to help our students acquire a repertoire of complex skills-set and knowledge.

All international applicants must meet the admission requirements for NAFA Diploma courses. If you are only able to submit your full results in mid-2018, you may use your school examination results or trial examination results for registration. You must provide a letter from your school to certify that these results are true and correct, and that you are currently waiting for the release of your final results. In this case, you are also required to sit for the NAFA English Placement Test. International students residing overseas are required to apply for admission to NAFA through the appointed education counselors where applicable. Countries with NAFA overseas education counsellors include China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Academy has groomed 13 Cultural Medallion recipients, Singapore’s highest accolade bestowed to arts practitioners who have made significant impact in the arts and culture, and 14 Young Artist Award recipients.

As an advocate of lifelong learning, NAFA is dedicated to developing a greater appreciation for the arts in both children and adults. The School of Young Talents is a pioneer arts school that offers weekend courses in art, music, dance and drama for 4 to 18-year-olds. For adults, our Centre for Lifelong Education offers enrichment courses and part-time certificate programmes.With a rich heritage, outstanding track record and an unwavering dedication to the highest standards of education, NAFA remains at the forefront of the development of arts education in Singapore and beyond.

NAFA Arts Kindergarten (NAK) is the first and only Arts Kindergarten in Singapore. Just like its senior affiliate, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, NAK provides arts education in music, art and dance. NAK aims to achieve teaching excellence in grooming children into refined young talents dedicated in every pursuit of their lives.NAK’s arts integrated thematic curriculum is guided by the Ministry of Education curriculum framework, providing children with experiences to build their foundation and learning skills necessary for their primary school education. The curriculum aims to enhance children’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. NAK’s philosophy is that children are creative thinkers, illustrators and active learners. Every child is an artist whose creative potential can be harnessed. The students will attend at least one arts lesson every day, with music lessons twice a week, and specialised dance, art, speech and drama lessons once a week.
