The National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) with legacy over 51 years of service in the business of higher education is focusing on resilience the professional practice gap in the fields of Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Design and Languages. Throughout this journey we have enriched thousands of students by ensuring better career opportunities in both local and foreign job markets. Concurrent innovations, developments and efforts coupled with experienced professional lead NIBM to differentiate itself from other higher education service providers.

Currently, NIBM operates as a self-financed statuary body under the Ministry of Higher Education, Technology and Innovation. Today, we are recognized as one of the higher educational institute to be awarded with ISO 9001-2008 which certifies that our processes and systems are according to the internationally recognized standards.

Currently, our operations are carried out through six campuses covering four main regions of the country. The principal place of the business is situated at No.120/5, Vidya Mawatha, Colombo 07, Sri Lanka. Apart from two campuses located in Colombo, we serve our customers through other campuses located in Kandy, Kurunegala, Galle and Matara. While all these campuses serve similar market segments, National Innovation Centre (NIC) was established at Kirulapona (Colombo 05) to cater to a creative industries including Fashion Design, Interior Architecture, Music and Arts.
