Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA)

NESA is a community of schools and organizations that has served educators, students and their families from Cairo in the west to Kathmandu in the east for over 50 years.

We are dedicated to educator professional growth to improve student learning. We deliver on this mission via intertwined systems of care and quality programming, focusing not only on ideas and knowledge, but also on nurturing and relationships that allow for transformational learning and system impact.

The Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools is a non-profit association of private, independent American/international schools serving students and their families in North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia. For 50 years we have focused on promoting exemplary professional learning opportunities for educators working in our schools — in service of improved student learning.

Currently NESA includes 40+ Member Schools plus over 100 Affiliate Schools and Organizations in an area stretching from Egypt and Greece to India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
