Homeroom teacher (K2) and Language lead

Currently working with Toddler’s Den as a K2 (kindergarten-2) homeroom teacher since August 2016 and also the language lead for K2 since 2017.

Worked as a reading club specialist for Toddler’s Den Explore Program for the the academic year 2019-20.

Key Responsibilities

• Currently designing activities for virtual class and conducting online classes
• Designing and planning the curriculum for K2. Planning for lesson plans according to the program followed by school and to the age group of the children which includes language, Math, and unit of Inquiry.
• Design language curriculum which includes benchmarks of assessment for listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Planning and designing grade level assignment books.
• Prepare classroom management strategies to help the student to be disciplined and enhance their overall academic skills.
• Work as a team to execute all the events at school, organize field trips and training sessions.

Proof Reader
Working for a publication house to proofread basic phonics books.

Online Tutor
Currently teaching some students phonics and reading across the country via Zoom, Google classroom, or Hangouts.

Nursery Teacher
Worked at Happy Feet Prep School as Nursery Class Teacher from April 2013 to July 2016.

Also, have the experience of teaching the Junior Kg Class.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan the academic curriculum, lesson plans according to the age group of the preschoolers.
• Train the students to follow instructions and be disciplined.
• Conduct activities that help gross motor and fine motor skills.
• Plan, organize and execute the timely functions, field trips, and the celebrations of the school.
• Maintain all the registers and records.
• Use the combination of Montessori and modern techniques of teaching.
• Understand each child’s physical, emotional and social needs and work accordingly for their development.
• Development of teaching materials.

Taking special workshops like basic writing and phonics for the children from age group 1-5.

Also working as a tutor and taking classes for students from Nursery till the 4th grade. The main subjects taught are English, Math, and Environmental studies.
