NIVA American International School (NIVA) was established 30 years ago in Soi 101 on Ladprao Road, Bangkok, as NIVA Overseas School (NOS), one of only seven international schools operating in Thailand at the time. Our initial goal was to assist children of expatriates living in Thailand and Thai students returning home from abroad in preparing for and passing the British IGCSE external examinations and enabling them to enroll in universities both in Thailand and overseas.
Founded in 1991, NIVA American International School (NIVA American) offers a vigorous education in a student-centered nurturing environment that uses California's Common Core State Standards (CCSS) as the main platform from Nursery to Grade 12. The CCSS is combined with other selected curriculums from around the world to meet the needs of our student community.
NIVA American was established to provide a holistic education inspired by the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s global education philosophy that aims to harmoniously develop its students intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our goal is to create future leaders founded on integrity using effective and nourishing learning systems and pedagogies in a conscientious, safe, healthy, and progressive environment where creativity, individuality, respect, diversity, equality, and environmental sustainability are actively promoted.

Though NIVA is a small international school which is located in a small soi, but I got to say that it has the ability to recruit such amazing students with amazing talents. The students are open minded so a new student can fit in here with no problems as long as they learn to adapt. NIVA is surrounded by malls, which help provides conveniences to the students. The teachers here are really friendly, helpful, understanding and flexible. The staff can provides you with all the helps you need in order to successfully plan an event. NIVA focuses on projects and events which is great for improving social skills ,and communication skill while keeping the lessons entertaining. Lastly NIVA has many successful graduated students which can guarantee that the school can provide the students with all their required knowledge and skills to use in the future as well.

I’ve started learning at NIVA since grade one. I transferred here from another school because of my sister. Since then, I’ve been spending all my years at NIVA. Something that I like about this school is that it gives a sense of community. Since the school is pretty small we are able to create close relationships with other students and teachers. In addition, I like the atmosphere of the school because it is built around nature. I do feel that I am ready for the next stage of my life since I’ve spent a lot of time preparing for it. I’ve experienced many things that could be useful to me in the future. NIVA has combined both in class and hands-on experience for students, which I believe would be helpful to everyone.

My son started at NIVA in nursery and is now in K2. From the time he started, I was impressed with the teachers and staff in taking care of my boy. My boy is a happy kid, and by playing with other kids, he became more sociable and friendly. I like the nurturing style of NIVA's kindergarten program. They look into every child individually, and we as parents see the progress and support. We also support our son in everything he does at school. We get valuable feedback from the teachers. My son is now very confident when he goes on stage. I think it's because they give the children a lot of exposure to express themselves. I hope you can try it for yourself. I think you will be happy, just as I am happy with our decision to enroll my son at NIVA.

We have two children; one graduated already two years ago, and the second one is graduating this year. It was a long journey for us, but we came all this way. I am already starting to miss this school. The school has been like a second home for my children, and we were a part of their experiences as they grew up here. We faced challenges, but we also made many happy memories and relationships within the community. It is like a family here. We know everyone in the school, from the teachers to the staff and even the maids. Everyone is helpful, and if there are any problems that arise, we are able to resolve them together. I am forever grateful that this school shaped my children into what they are today. I especially want to mention the guidance department for being instrumental in my child's chosen career. And with their leadership program, I'm happy my children developed leadership skills that can be used in the future.

I had visited the school for school tour activity last week. after talked with staff and visited the school facility, It has been interesting to let my kid join. There have a lot activities to the kid. especially I'd love a curriculum that create like a theme base per week.

I'm impressed. The school is spacious and not cramped. The children seem very happy and involved in learning.
Children use English well both inside and outside the classroom.
The teachers are cute and love the children. Overall we are very impressed and proud of our decision to let our son study at Niva.
